Code of Honor

The book I am currently reading is called Code of Honor by Alan Gratz. This is about a kid named Kamran Smith who is the most popular kid in school. This is because he is dating the most popular girl and is the star of his football team. Kamran can't wait to join the army just like his older brother Darius. There mom is from Iran but Kamran has always felt 100% American. Kamran was always looking at to Darius as a good role model. Many people at Kamran school know his brother Darius and had also seen him as a good person.
Darius was in The United States Military Academy and "He's in Afghanistan right now with the Thrid Ranger Battalion Speacial Ops, protecting your butt from terrorists." Then, suddenly Kamran mom "grabbed the steering wheel so hard I thought it was going to snap off in her hands." Kamran ask his mom what had happen and she said "It's Darius." There was an attach in the US embassy in Trukey and there was someone who looks like Darius. Darius was in the attack and many people believed that I was him who caused it. Because of what happen every thing started to change at school for Kamran. What I mean is his girlfriend the most popular girl in school was not talking to him and she said "Please don't call me anymore for a little while." Kamran is still curious on what had happen in the embassy and why his girlfriend had broken up with him.

Biography Blog (Steve Nash)

My biography book is just recently finished was called "Steve Nash Leader On and Off The Court." This book is about the basketball career of Steve Nash and his life outside of basketball. Steve was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in Feburary 7, 1974. He lived most of his life in Vancouver, Canada. Steve Nash was a very little kid with very big dreams. Throughout most of his life Steve was very postive about him self that he will make it far in basketball. He always said to himself that he will make the NBA and go to college to play basketball.
Steve Nash has always been a good role model to other younger kids look up too. He is a good role model because of his chemistry with his teammates and when he shows apperacte to the fans. In the book it says in page 44 " Whetever the fans like me or not is totally irrelevant at this point," Nash added. "My number one concern is the team . The fans have to be secondary . If the fans have give up on me, that's fine." This shows many things because about his fans and his team but he still cares about the fans,
